Hi! I’m Addie, and I love dogs.

The first thing I ever remember wanting to be when I grew up was a police dog trainer. But despite that foreshadowing, finding my way to training professionally was not a linear path. Dogs and dog sports have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a kid, I was obsessed with training my lab mix, Fonzie, in obedience, and trick training. I started competing in agility and volunteering at local trials, doing anything I could to be around dogs and those who love them.

Then came Tuck. I realized early on that Tuck was unlike any other dog that I had met - he was shy and afraid of almost everything. I sought out some of the best trainers in the country to learn how to help my dog. As I started to understand Tuck more, I joined a local Schutzhund club. Over time, a dog that was afraid of his shadow became a dog I could confidently take off leash on trails across the country.

Over time, I started having friends and strangers ask for help with their dogs. At first I offered free consulting, which then turned into occasional clients on the side of my professional career. Finally, when I needed a change from the corporate world of commodity risk management, I took a risk to pursue my lifelong passion for dogs.

Today, I spend my days training pet dogs, training working dogs, and performing inspections with my own K9. I enjoy educating and empowering owners to train the dog in front of them while offering the most fulfilling life they can.

I can’t wait to meet you and your dog and to help you live a more fulfilled life together. Let’s get training
